“ Very friendly and generous! Me Will the platter feed two people or nah? Them I can make it feed two people. First time there and definitely not the last. So good, well priced and super friendly service. Parking sucks because the center is very crowded but risked a tow just to pick it up and would do it again! ”
“ Ive been here 3 times over as many months and I love this place for all my kabob needs. Its one of the few places in NOVA that actually feels like a local spot and not so transactional. As cliche as it is, the dudes behind the counter make you feel like family and thats not something I can say about restaurants up here. Oh and the bread is exceptional. ”
“ I just cant stop coming back to this place, and I dont even live in the USA. But every time i come back to DC area, I gotta get something good at Kabob House. Youseff, Omar, and Omars brother cant remember his name... itll come to me all create a welcoming atmosphere. They recently began to sell cream rolls and baklava. Delicious! Also, i like how they treat their employees. ”
“ If youre looking for a dining experience in the heart of old Kabul, this restaurant is a mustvisit. I was impressed by the nostalgic decor, which transported me back to the original Kabul street. While the chairs could be a bit more comfortable, the food truly captures the flavors of the old city. We ordered the lamb kebab, which came with a generous side of fresh naan, salad, and green sauce. The rice was aromatic, and the kebab was cooked to perfection with tender chunks of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Masih Jan and his cousin, who even offered us tea. Dont miss out on the complimentary starter soup! Im looking forward to returning soon, bakhair. ”
“ Get the soup. I really enjoy this place welcoming staff will make you feel like family. Place your order, then have a seat and enjoy some soup while you wait. Love the relaxed atmosphere, very clean store, food has been consistently good, the baklava was the best Ive had in my ENTIRE LIFE and the hospitality is great. ”
“ The best of the best of all kabobs in town. Truly authentic, tasty, and affordable menu prices. The owner is the cherry on top either his warm welcome, generosity, ane hospitality. Been coming here for ages. Highly recommend! ”
“ the staff is amazing and always so energetic that it gets you excited as well. the food is high quality and great for the price. they are not stingy on the food they give you, additionally, if you are waiting for your togo order they provide an onthehouse soup which is absolutely amazing. it speaks to the type of business they run and I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for Afghanistan styled food, or south asian food in general. ”
“ I wouldnt even pay mind to these bad reviews. My family and i walked in and they are very welcoming and offered soup as we waited for our food. I dont believe they overcharge as you get a ton of food compared to whats owed. Thank you guys! The food smells great and weve been coming here for years! ”
